From -$80,000 to $600,000: The Jayden Case Study

Down $80,000 with no strategy and no data, Jayden rebuilt his trading around the three-step method: condition, zone, trigger. First payout eight weeks later, $270,000 by that December, now past $600,000.

Before and after proof for Jayden

The story in 20 seconds

Who
a trader down $80,000 with no clear strategy and no idea of his own trading data.
Then
scrambling and reacting, keeping score like a gambler.
Now
first payout eight weeks after joining, $270,000 in profit by that December, now past $600,000 in total payouts, and teaching weekly live sessions inside STB.
What changed
the three-step method we use: condition, zone, trigger.

01 / The mechanism

Condition, Zone, Trigger

When Jayden joined, he was drowning in everything he had learned. Years of videos, concepts, and vocabulary, all tangled together, all of it making every decision harder. So we simplified all of it into the three-step method we use: condition, zone, trigger.

Here is what that meant for him, without the classroom version. Condition is a mechanical way that makes the bullish-or-bearish decision for him, so he stops debating himself. Zone tells him exactly which levels he is allowed to trade from, so he stops chasing price in the middle of nowhere. Trigger is the exact criteria that has to appear before he enters, or he sits on his hands and does nothing.

And here is what happened once he had it: he realized he did not have as many psychology problems as he thought. Most of what felt like a mental flaw was just a trader without a clear, proven system. Once the system made the decisions, the anxiety, the second-guessing, and the score-keeping lost their job. Everything that was holding him back fell apart, and he was able to soar.

The how of those three steps is what we build with you inside the program. The what is simple enough to say out loud: the market tells you its condition, you wait for your zone, and you only move on the trigger.

02 / The proof, with dates

The proof, with dates

June 26, 2024, eight weeks after joining: his first prop firm payout, $9,000 from Topstep. His caption: "This is the first of many."

Proof artifact

One week later: another payout, $10,930.

November 2024: four payouts of $4,500 in one week, $22,500 for five days of work. Two weeks after that, his biggest week to that point: $56,000.

December 2024, eight months after being down $80,000: past $270,000 in profit on $250,000 of funded accounts. Jesse flew him to Miami to celebrate.

May 2025: he posts his bank card, $50,755.93 arrived, with another $20,000 on the way.

Proof artifact

December 2025: the weekly prop leaderboard posts him at #1 with $40,500 for the week. His caption: "The 1 not the 2."

Proof artifact

March 2026: another five-figure payout notification, $16,458.73 from Alpha Futures. Days earlier, a payout dashboard he posted showed over $21,000 in profit since his previous payout.

And the total has kept climbing: Jayden has now passed $600,000 in total payouts.

And the detail that completes the arc: Jayden now trades live in front of STB students himself, weekly, and has since early 2025.

Results not typical. Futures risk. Prop rules vary.

03 / The before

How we got here: down $80,000 with no idea why

In April 2024, Jayden was in the hole for $80,000. Not a bad week. Eighty thousand dollars, with no clear strategy and no idea of his trading data, in the words of STB's own playbook.

His messages from that period show the mindset that produces an -$80,000 hole: scrambling, reacting, asking "I was already +3k from yesterday, now how much do I have to make to pass?" That is not a trader executing a plan. That is a gambler keeping score.

He was not short on trading content. Nobody loses $80,000 without videos, Discords, and vocabulary. He had information. What he did not have was a process that converted information into executed trades, tracked data, and honest feedback.

04 / The enemy

The enemy was never the market. It was the guessing.

Most traders at -$80,000 think they need a better strategy, or worse, that something is wrong with them mentally. Jayden needed neither. He needed the decisions taken out of his hands by a system that was already proven. Once condition, zone, and trigger were making the calls, the gambler keeping score at -$80,000 became the man posting leaderboard screenshots, and eight months later he could tell you exactly what his numbers were.

05 / The turn

"270k bro"

The message Jayden sent Jesse that year is the one line this entire case study hangs on: "270k bro this year. I didn't become profitable until you."

Read it carefully. He did not say "until I learned more." He had been learning for years. He became profitable when information finally became execution: one process, tracked data, live sessions where he could watch the work done in real time, and people who reviewed what he actually did.

The moment it changed

What his story means if you're down and keeping score

If you've got years of knowledge and no equity curve to show for it, your bottleneck is execution variance. You don't fix variance with more indicators. You fix it with constraints.

Jayden's constraints: condition, zone, trigger, and the discipline to let the system make the calls.

His first payout came eight weeks after he started.
